Austin, TX – CORE Group hired Summer Street as Executive Director of Sales for ONCORE, CORE Private Client, and CORE Commercial offerings. Summer will support client development initiatives and work closely with its current partners to deliver elevated service.
Summer Street is the former Document Sector Director for Polygon, a leader in disaster restoration services with 20 offices in North America. She was responsible for overseeing operations at the company’s document centers in Glendale Heights, Ill., and Georgetown, Mass. – facilities that offer advanced techniques for document, book, and complete media restoration services from fire, water, and mold damage. She most recently held the title of Director of Marketing for North America.
She provides education to the industry on the technology and benefits of a proper document restoration. Street has more than 18 years of experience in the property damage and emergency response industry, holding positions in management and sales.
Prior to Polygon, Street was Vice President of the Chicago Conservation Center, one of the nation’s leading private art restoration and conservation laboratories. Before that, she spent seven years at DKI, as a National Account Director.
She has frequently spoken on the topic of Disaster Restoration, Document and Book Restoration, and Fine Art conservation at PLRB, ARMA, and RIA and has been the featured speaker at internal training sessions conducted by various library associations, document management conferences, and for corporate clients such as ACE, Chubb, Hanover, Chartis, and State Farm. She has been published extensively in industry publications on a document and fine art restoration and is considered a subject matter expert in the field. “We are very excited to welcome Summer Street to CORE’s growing team!
